“We are looking forward to the celebration event, “Celebrating Diversity: Growing In Hope” - being hosted at the Selly Oak Methodist Church, B29 6HT on Saturday 28 May 2022. Welcome will be expressed by the past President of Conference Rev Inderjit Bhogal and from the Chair of the Birmingham District, Rev Ian Howarth. The Key Note Speaker will be Professor Anthony Reddie, Director of the Oxford Centre for Religion & Culture. Also present will be the President of Conference, Rev Sonia Hicks; Rev Sahr Yambasu, President of the Methodist Church in Ireland, and the current Youth President, Daud Irfran.
This is an event for people of all ages from across the church. Please come and share in a day of global heritage celebrations from 10 am – 4 pm.
